Hello and welcome to my campaign site. 

My name is Rodney Curtis, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Sheriff of Gordon County, Georgia.

I am a lifelong resident of Gordon County and most of my working life has been dedicated to a career in law enforcement. I have over two decades of experience in law enforcement serving at every level. I cannot believe it has been that long, but I believe I still have more to do, more to offer, and more to accomplish. My career journey required a lot of perseverance and resilience, and I am grateful for all the lessons and experiences that have prepared me for this opportunity.

The message of my campaign is simple.  As the county’s chief law enforcement officer, I will create a non-political, budget sensitive environment, that will focus its resources on improving public safety throughout Gordon County. I have operated at all levels of law enforcement, which will allow me to bring those experiences, to enhance growth and new ideas that will better serve the citizens of Gordon County.  And because I do not have direct ties to the sheriff’s office, I am the candidate who WILL make necessary changes to improve and make the department more efficient to better serve the citizens of Gordon County.
